HeadSpark is a dynamic new learning organisation that provides professional and affordable learning courses, workshops, correspondence courses, and related services to individuals and organisations in need of creative writing, business writing and basic language skills.
HeadSpark was launched in 2009 in response to a need in the market for an inspirational writing school with a contemporary vision, a strong online presence, skilled and qualified facilitators and affordable courses and services.

1. Our learning modules.
Are original and proprietary, and were researched, developed and translated exclusively for the company by professional practitioners who have significant academic accreditation and current writing, publishing and editing experience.
2. Our facilitators.

3. Our fees.
All of our courses and workshops are competitively priced, presented regularly, and our related administration services are prompt and professional.
4. Our non-academic approach.
Our learning modules are based on careful research, but we are not an academic institution, nor do we aim to be. We believe in inspired, self-motivated and self–directed learning: no prescribed homework, no required exams or portfolios, and we don't hand out worthless certificates.
5. Our writing philosophy: inspiration first.
We don’t teach formulas, "rules" or "recipes" for fiction because they stifle creativity. In fact, we don't "teach" at all ... we inspire.
6. Our strong online focus.
All of our workshops can be booked for on the web, and paid for via EFT. We also offer courses via e-mail correspondence.
7. Our free and interactive web-based services and activities.
Our website is more than an online brochure: it aims to create and nurture a sharing community of writers through involvement and free interaction.

10. Unique booking promise.
We will not cancel or postpone a booked workshop or course, even if there is only one delegate attending. If you’ve booked and paid for a workshop or course, it will be presented on the date and time you’ve booked.
